DR. MARTIN
Stephanie J. Martin, MD is a native of southern California and the founder of Cal Coast Dermatology. She earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX, and completed her dermatology residency at UCLA, where she was selected as chief resident in her final year. She then completed the Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (aka Mohs surgery) fellowship at UCLA.
She is double board-certified in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Martin is Chief of Dermatologic Surgery for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, and she is one of the core faculty members for the UCLA Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship training program.
Outside of work, Dr. Martin loves spending time with her husband and their 3 children. She enjoys hiking, swimming, sailing, skiing and pretty much all things outdoors (with sufficient sunscreen application of course!).
DR. LUCERO
Renee Lucero, DO is from the central coast of California. She earned her medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed a surgical internship in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Lucero completed her dermatology residency at Prime West Consortium in Newport Beach, CA where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lucero is clinical faculty, teaching dermatology residents at her residency program.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Lucero enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and food.
LAURA DUFOUR, NP
Laura E. DuFour, FNP-BC is a southern California native. She earned her first bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in Public Relations and Business Administration, and her second bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Nursing and Health Studies.
After working for over a decade in the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Emergency Department, Laura decided to further her career as a Nurse Practitioner, and received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from the University of California Los Angeles. She is board certified from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, is an active member in the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and she serves as a course instructor through the Emergency Nurses Association. Laura has a passion for dermatology and is well-trained in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Outside of work, Laura loves spending time with her college sweetheart, now
husband, and their 2 children. She enjoys classical music, volunteering, and being physically active.
